Knoxville City Council

A public hearing regarding the 2015 Community Development Block Grant Program is on the agenda for Monday’s Knoxville City Council Meeting.

The council will decide if they want to approve using $10,000 from the Housing and Urban Development fund for the CDBG Program. The funds would be part of a local match from a grant the city is hoping to obtain from the Iowa Economic Development Association.

Also on the city council agenda, an update on 2014 TIF Certification, approval of the Fiscal Year 2014 Urban Renewal Report, and the approval of Officer Aaron Houk as a reserve police officer for the Knoxville Police Department.

The Knoxville City Council will meet at city hall beginning at 6:15pm and can be heard on AM 1320 and FM 95.3 KNIA.
