Several members of the Pella High football team were chosen to receive various honors for their hard work on and off the field in 2014. Nine different players were chosen to the first team all-district, including Trevor Argo, Noah Clayberg, Nathan Henry, Garret Jansen, Seth Johnson, Quinton Murphy, Brian Rundle, Mason Van Gorp, and Will Warner. Honorable mentions went to Colton Bradley, Logan Heerema, James Krall, Austin Schulte, Carter Terpstra, Payson Vande Lune and Zach Vande Weerd. In addition, 28 names were on the Academic All-District List. A player must have a cumulated GPA of at least 3.25 to be recognized. A full list of honors can be found by clicking below. Five players were chosen to the All-State team, including Noah Clayberg, Seth Johnson, Garret Jansen, Quinton Murphy, and Will Warner. Pella finished 14 – 0 on the year and are the current reigning Class 3A state champions.
