Being mainly a running offense the past several years with talented players in the backfield, Pella Christian’s football team, with sophomore David Kacmarynski at the helm, decided to switch their focus for 2014 to maximize their potential. It’s tough to change up your offensive schemes to focus on something completely different, but head coach, Rich Kacmarynski, feels that his team did a great job of adjusting to their new plan of attack. Pella Christian is still ranked third in the state in Class 1A in overall passing yards with 2,179, and the only teams above them are North Cedar and Iowa City Regina, each who have played more total games than the Eagles this season.
