A little less than a third of the way through the season, Pella Christian boys’ basketball coach, Larry Hessing, is pleased with what he’s seen through six games thus far in 2014. Coach Hessing says the guys are working well together and they know there is much work to do between now and the end of the season. One of those things to work on is their defense, says Hessing. They gave up a season-high 87 points to Pella last week, but are allowing around 58 points-a-game through six contests. The Eagles are currently 5 – 1 on the season.
