After being named to the AFCA Division III Coaches’ All-America Team recently, Central football free safety, Jacob Edleman, was named to the Associated Press Little All-America second team. The honor is given to players from NCAA Division II, Division III, and NAIA schools. Edleman’s season was highlighted by a three interception performance in a 41 – 14 win over Loras in mid-October. The senior is the ninth AP All-American in school history, and the first one in 20 years since offensive tackle, Jeff Helle won the award in back-to-back years in 1993 and 1994.
