The atmosphere was that of a sub state final, but it was only the fourth game of the season, however the Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad took down Chariton last night 62-59. The Panthers led most of the way jumping out to a ten point advantage in the first half before settling for a seven point advantage by halftime. Panthers coach Jeff Larson told KNIA/KRLS his team never had an ounce of fear, Chase Larson scored 21 points to lead Knoxville who improve to 4-0 on the season and 3-0 in the South Central Conference. The girls jumped out to a 22-2 lead after one quarter and cruised past Chariton 54-31. Meredith Cunningham led the Panthers with 19 points as they go to 5-0 on the season and 3-0 in conference play.
