The Knoxville Wrestling Squad will hit the mat for the first time this season tonight by hosting Newton in a heads up dual. The Panthers are seeing a lot of change this season with like all sports moving to a new conference, and a new coach as Doug Hatch takes over the reins of the program that was led by Ron Peterson the past three years. The Panthers return several grapplers from last year including Jac Agan, Brock Caviness, and Travis Poffenbarger. The Panthers will be without the services early of Skyler Cunningham, who is still recuperating from an injury sustained during football season. The J-V bouts are scheduled to get underway at 6:30 with the varsity to follow.
