The PCM girls’ basketball team set the tone for the night with a 60 – 25 whacking of South Hamilton on Tuesday. Rachel Freland went 9-for-19 from the field for 21 points, and Courtney VanHouweling had 15 to help lead the Mustangs to a 2 – 1 record. In the nightcap, the PCM boys prevailed 61 – 52. Logan Gillman had a strong effort for his Mustangs with 18 points and eight rebounds. Trey Lindsey also threw in 13 for PCM. Coach Fred Lorensen tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his team has a lot to clean up before their match-up with Roland-Story, which takes place this Friday.
