It has been tough to score on the PCM boys’ basketball team lately. After allowing an average of 65 points in their first three games, the Mustangs have responded to allow just 41 per game during their current five-game winning streak. They haven’t allowed an opponent to score more than 50 points in the last two weeks, including holding a streaking Knoxville team to just 38 last Saturday. Coach Fred Lorensen says he’s liking what the defense is doing, but adds they need to keep growing. The Mustangs are 6 – 2 and will come back to host Nevada on January 6.
