A new Midwest 410 sprint car series will take to dirt tracks in 2015. The National Sprint League which was founded by Tod Quiring of Big Game Treestands will make its debut in 2015. The N-S-L will race strictly in the Midwest, plus run four times at the Knoxville Raceway. Series Public Relations Director Bill Wright tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the National Sprint League will run mainly on Friday and Sunday with the exception of the four times at Knoxville to afford any Knoxville weekly driver who wants to run the full N-S-L and still run all of the Knoxville weekly programs. Already current Knoxville 410 champion Ian Madsen has committed to running the entire N-S-L schedule as has fellow Knoxville weekly drivers Terry McCarl, Dusty Zomer and Dakota Hendrickson, plus Brian Brown. The National Sprint League’s inaugural race will be April 11th at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa. The first visit to Knoxville will be May ninth.
