With the lack of the football athletes through their first week-plus of practice, the Pella High boys’ basketball team has had to take what was given to them as far as getting ready for the season is concerned. Coach Mark Core says there have been some interesting match-ups so far in practice that have made his ability to judge how some of the younger guys on the team are doing somewhat hindered. The Little Dutch will play the nightcap of the girls’/boys’ doubleheader on Tuesday against Carlisle to begin their season.
