After a big sweep on Tuesday, the Pella Christian basketball teams get on the bus over to Newton tonight for their first conference doubleheader of the 2014-15 season. The Eagles were able to take down A-D-M for a pair of wins the other day in a couple of tight matches. The Cardinals’ girls are off to a slow 0 – 4 start while the boys defeated Boone in their debut, 68 – 53. Coach Larry Hessing says that the Newton boys will be a difficult match-up for his Eagles.
