With an uplifting defeat of Melcher-Dallas three days ago, the Pleasantville basketball teams hope the good times continue to roll over in Leon tonight when the Trojans take on Central Decatur. The Cardinals boys and girls have been scoring at-will this season; the girls are averaging 70 points-a-game through two contests while allowing just 56 total. Five of their players are averaging better than ten points per game so far. On the boys’ side, Pleasantville will be looking to slow down Peyton Pedersen, who scored 35 points in their opening night win over Clarke. There’s one sophomore for the Trojans, Brady Elder, who wasn’t originally listed on the Pleasantville roster, that Coach Tom Wilkins says has been a big spark for their team. The girls will tip-off tonight’s doubleheader first at 6:15 p.m.
