Seymour was no match for the Twin Cedars’ basketball teams last night in Bussey, as the Sabers came away with a pair of wins on their home court. The girls came out on top, 47 – 32. Liz Rowley scored 14 points and Shyanne Denburger dumped in 11, as the Sabers’ girls improve to 1 – 2. The Twin Cedars boys prevailed, 56 – 38. Twin Cedars was up by ten at the half before pulling away late. Otis Roby had a double-double effort of 24 points and 14 rebounds. The Sabers’ boys are now 3 – 1 on the year, and they’ll join up with the girls again for a home twinbill on Friday against Moulton-Udell.
