After being thwacked by Grand View Christian on Tuesday, the Melcher-Dallas girls’ and boys’ basketball teams will try to nab a pair of non-conference wins at Southeast Warren this evening. The Warhawks and Saints’ gals each enter with a 2 – 2 mark and are both coming off of losses. The two schools are very similar, as they are very young and their offenses have had similar “success”; Melcher-Dallas is averaging 36 points per game while Southeast Warren has put up 40. In the boys’ contest, one thing’s for sure, one of the two clubs will be grabbing their first win of the year as they both enter 0 – 3. The varsity doubleheader at Southeast Warren is schedule to tip-off at 6:15 p.m.
