Pella High had one second place finish and one third place finish at Saturday’s Bill Van Horn Wrestling Invitational in the Tulip City. Jake Speltz finished second in the 170 pound weight bracket with a loss to Cody Jones of Oskaloosa in the championship match. Chase Petty finished third with a win in the consolation bracket at 132 pounds. Ashton Messer was fifth, Aaron Born, Jacob Diehl, and James Van Gorp all came in sixth. The Little Dutch are off for the holiday break and will get back to the mats on January 8 for a dual with Norwalk.
