Area Roadways Snow Covered and Slick

The Iowa State Patrol reports that area roadways are up to 100% snow covered and slick. State plows are in operation. There are reports of vehicles in ditches across much of the state. Officials urge caution if you must travel, and give our road crews and first responders plenty of room to work.

Local Businesses Prepare for Snowfall

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for much of Iowa beginning tonight from 7PM through 9PM Sunday. Rain will change to snow tonight, with accumulations of seven to ten inches of snow expected in our listening area.

Area businesses are preparing for the snow, and Motor Inn in Knoxville is one of them, moving as many vehicles inside and under canopies to make it easier to plow when the snowfall is over.
