Featuring the most seniors they’ve had in program history, Central’s softball team is ranked 12th in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III preseason poll. Central was 20th in the final poll of the 2014 season, following a 30 – 12 record and their 26th NCAA tournament appearance in the last 29 seasons. The Dutch bring back 14 letterwinners, seven starters and two pitchers. Luther is ranked 18th, while Simpson and Coe are each receiving votes. Central will open up their regular season under the comforts of a roof, at the Rochester Bubble from March 6 – 7 in Minnesota.
