It’s been a more than three weeks of close games for the Pella Christian Eagles boys’ basketball team since they’ve returned from the holiday break. In the last six days, they have won a pair of non-conference games against Des Moines Christian and Ballard after dropping four conference games in a row, including at home against Pella, and on the road to Norwalk, Grinnell, and DCG. Pella Christian Head Coach Larry Hessing says he knew his team had the ability to bounce back. Hessing says his team’s competitive edge is what will keep them focused during a number of homecoming activities.
