After starting the season with five straight wins, Pella Christian’s boys’ basketball team has faltered, with just one win in their last four. In that four-game span, the Eagles have shot around 43% from the field, but just 27% from the outside. Coach Larry Hessing says the only thing they can do to “fix” the problem is to keep getting good looks and stay poised out on the court. District assignments for Class 2A just recently came out, and the Eagles are lumped into a bracket with PCM and Albia. In the cross-district, a possible sub-state opponent would be Des Moines Christian, whom the Eagles will face this Saturday. First things first, Pella Christian hits the road again for a big game against Dallas Center-Grimes on Friday.
