Their season resuming tomorrow at home against Norwalk, the Pella High girls’ basketball team will be trying to pick up where they left off in 2014. The Lady Dutch have started to gel, and bench players such as Ciara Buchheit and Kiara Bradley have stepped up in a big way to make them a dangerous team through a third of their season. It always seems like the season goes by quickly once you get past Christmas break, and this rings true for many senior athletes, including the ones playing for Pella. Coach Jerod Garland says he hopes his 12th graders play like there’s no tomorrow. The girls’ game will come first in tomorrow’s Little Hawkeye Conference doubleheader, and can be heard live on 92.1 KRLS with pre-game starting at 6:00 p.m.
