The Christmas Break is over for the Knoxville Basketball Squads. The Panthers will host Newton in non-conference games today. The girls will try to keep their perfect record intact against a team that always gives them fits. Coach Jim Uitermarkt tells KNIA/KRLS Sports with both teams coming off a long break between games, it could come down to which one that finds that extra gear, may be the one that comes out on top. The boys will also be in action and are looking to get another winning streak started after losing to P-C-M back on December 21st. Coach Jeff Larson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports Newton will cause some problems with the guard play. Tip of the girl’s game is at four with the boys set to begin at around 5:30.
