With the postseason almost two weeks away, Pleasantville basketball gets on the bus to pay Albia a visit for a doubleheader tonight, as the Trojans try to begin, or continue for the boys, momentum towards the playoffs. The Trojan girls had a season-high two-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday at the hands of Martensdale – St. Mary’s, and play a Lady Dees squad that has struggled themselves finding points and wins. Coach Aaron Fichter says his girls need to put Tuesday’s game out of their minds and focus on Albia. Pleasantville’s boys have won six straight, and the defense will have to find a way to slow down the likes of Matt Baker, who is averaging 23 points per game this season. Tonight’s twinbill in Albia is scheduled to tip-off at 6:15 p.m.
