The Pleasantville girls’ basketball team heads to Southeast Warren tonight looking for their first win since December 2 when they defeated Melcher-Dallas, 52-45. The Lady Trojans have been competitive this year and have hung in and played a couple ranked teams tough. Southeast Warren is 5-5 on the year and is standing in the way of Pleasantville tonight. Kennedy Core leads the Trojans averaging 16 points per game. Pleasantville girl’s head coach Aaron Fichter emphasizes the importance of getting out to fast start against Southeast Warren. Pleasantville is going to need a balance of scoring and taking care of the ball to pick up their first win over a month. The Pleasantville boys’ basketball team has struggled as of late, as they have dropped their last three games. Senior guard Trevor Zoss leads the Trojans, averaging 15.8 points per game.
