Melcher-Dallas’ basketball teams fell at home against Iowa Christian Academy. The Saints’ girls dropped a 47 – 37 decision to their opponents. Sydney Suntken scored ten, Jenny Petersen had nine and 16 boards in the loss. The Saints’ boys also fell, 49 – 33. The game was tied at 13 at intermission. Chase Wetterling put up 21 points. Twin Cedars’ girls were victors over Diagonal to improve to 3 – 6, in a 54 – 43contest. Shyanne Denburger tallied 14 points, and Liz Rowley had 15. Twin Cedars’ boys lost 80 – 68. Twin Cedars is off until Monday to play Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, while the Saints will wait for the Sabers to come to town the next night on Tuesday.
