After two impressive wins over Dallas Center – Grimes away from the Tulip City on Friday, Pella High basketball will try to continue their surge tonight inside of Grinnell High School. The Lady Dutch’s run of ten straight started with a big come-from-behind win over the Tigers back on December 12, where Pella was down by 13 at the half but won, 68 – 66. Pella stymied the Fillies on Friday, holding them to 37 points, and Coach Jerod Garland says the girls need to be focused on a team out to get even. Pella’s boys also came back from a big first half deficit to Grinnell, but fell on a last-second free throw. A win by the Dutch would put them into a tie for first place in the Little Hawkeye Conference with Dallas Center – Grimes. KNIAKRLS.com is the place to hear the play-by-play for tonight’s doubleheader. Cory Houser and Randy Sikkema have the call starting with pre-game coverage at 6:00 p.m.
