The Pleasantville boy’s basketball team is playing good basketball at the right time of the year. The Trojans look to keep their season alive tonight as they play host to Colo-Nesco in the district semifinals. The Trojans are coming off of a 71-59 road win in the quarterfinals on Thursday night against Iowa Christian Academy. Pleasantville enters the contest with a 16-6 record on the year and Colo-Nesco enters tonight with a record of 21-1. The Trojans have won their last 12 of 13 games thanks, in part, to an up tempo offense and pressure defense. Colo-Nesco looks to use their size advantage inside to pick up second chance opportunities. Trojans heads coach Tom Wilkins says it’s nice to have a healthy team and have Zeb Adreon back in the lineup. The game can be heard on kniakrls.com with Garrett Knock and Tim Mount on the call. Pre-game coverage is set to begin at 7:40 p.m. with tip-off at 8:00. There will be a delayed broadcast on AM 1320 and FM 95.3 KNIA immediately following the Pella Christian – PCM boys’ game.
