Jacob Hoch at 160 pounds for Southeast Warren and Melcher-Dallas wrestling came up just short on Friday night in his Class 1A semifinal to undefeated Kegen Fingalsen of Central Springs, 4-3. Hoch has had himself a very good tournament and still has a shot at finishing in the top three of his weight class. Hoch will wrestle in the consolation semifinal today and if he wins he will wrestle for third place. Ty Schnieder came up short at 195 pounds for Southeast Warren as his season came to end with a loss to Hunter Johnston of Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, 7-1.
