The Pleasantville boys’ basketball team saw their season come to an end on Thursday night as they fell in the district final to Grand View Christian, 72-48. The Thunder came out of the gate in the first quarter shooting eight of nine from beyond the arc and taking a 31-12 lead at the end of the first quarter. It was a tough night for the Trojans as they got behind early and couldn’t get out of the hole. The Thunder finished the game with 13 made three pointers and also executed in the paint and defensively. Senior Trevor Zoss led the way for Pleasantville with 14 points. Head coach Tom Wilkins says he was proud of his seniors and their leadership and they will be tough to replace. The Trojans finished a solid season with a record of 17-7 and won their last 13 of 15 games. The game was heard on AM 1320 and FM 95.3 KNIA.
