The Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad’s first step in the postseason will be Washington tonight in Panthers Gym. Knoxville finished the regular season 17-4 while the Demons are 6-15 and have struggled to score above 40 points all season. While the Demons are struggling to win, Panthers Coach Jim Uitermarkt tells KNIA/KRLS Sports they are not your everyday six-win team. Knoxville will also try to stop its first losing streak of the season as the Panthers have lost the last two games. A win tonight gives the Panthers a trip to Pella to face the Lady Dutch on Saturday in the regional semi-finals.
