With the dual meet season now over…the seven remaining Knoxville wrestlers can now set their sights on Saturday’s Class 2A District in Fairfield. After finishing runner-up as a team last Saturday at the Sectional, the District provides an even bigger challenge with most of the brackets filled with grapplers from third ranked Mediapolis. Four of the Panthers have a Mediapolis wrestlers in their bracket. Coach Doug Hatch tells KNIA/KRLS that will make it tough. Action in Fairfield begins Saturday at noon. The top two individuals from each weight class advance to the state meet.
