The PCM girls’ basketball team jumped all over Chariton on Wednesday night at home in the regional semifinal 77-35. The Lady Mustangs used full court pressure the entire game to force 38 Chariton turnovers and take control of the game offensively and defensively. Rachel Freland led the way for PCM with a game high 22 points and sophomore Kayla Jennings added 14 points. PCM head coach Bret Grier was pleased with how his team started off on the right foot. The victory moves the Mustangs to the regional final on Saturday night in Washington against the number one team in the state in Mediapolis.
