Finishing just shy of 100 points for the second straight game, the Pella High boys’ basketball team concluded the regular season the same way the ladies did; with a 16-game winning streak. The Little Dutch blasted Centerville yesterday, 97 – 69, without the aid of Isaac Naaktgeboren or Sebastian Baugh in the line-up. Pella led 57 – 43 at intermission, and drained ten shots from beyond the arc for the game. Will Warner led all Dutch scorers with 27, Jackson Scholten put up 21, and Payson VandeLune had 20. Their record stands at 18 – 2, and they’ll enjoy a bit of a break until the postseason begins for them this Monday at home against Oskaloosa.
