The PCM girls’ basketball team came up just short on the road Tuesday night in a tough conference battle, as they fell to Saydel 66-60. Rachel Freland led the way for the Lady Mustangs with 16 points. The PCM boy’s basketball team over came a four point deficit at half to take down Saydel, 57 – 43. The Mustangs found themselves down by as many as ten in the first half, but were able to get a balanced scoring effort with Logan Gilman leading the way with 17 points. Trey Lindsay and Luke Greiner were also in double figures for PCM. Mustangs boy’s head coach Fred Lorensen was pleased with the way his team responded and played in the second half (actuality). Both games were heard on kniakrls.com and both teams are in action on the road on Friday night against Nevada.
