Norwalk never gave Knoxville a chance last night in the first round of the class 3A boy’s district basketball tournament as the Warriors beat the Panthers 73-32. Norwalk jumped out to a 23-5 first quarter lead and built it to the final margin of 41 by the end of the game. The Panthers were stifled in the middle both on offense and defense with Norwalk post players causing problems. Nolan Wallace led the Panthers with seven points. Knoxville ends its season at 13-9 and will lose four seniors from this season’s team.
