The PCM girl’s basketball team looks to stay tied for first in the Heart of Iowa conference standings, as they do battle on the road tonight in a big game against Saydel. The Lady Mustangs won the first matchup at home in decisive fashion on December 19th, 60-43. Saydel was ranked 13th in the first matchup and comes into tonight’s game ranked 15th in Class 3A. Lady Mustangs head coach Bret Grier says it’s going take 32 minutes of basketball and also a bit of mirroring to win tonight. The PCM boys’ basketball team bounced back with a blowout win on Friday night over North Polk and looks to do the same on the road tonight against Saydel. The Mustangs were victorious in the first matchup taking down Saydel 54-38, in a game where Saydel only scored six first half points.
