When the Pella Christian Eagles and Norwalk Warriors hit the floor last night, nobody guessed it would take an additional twenty minutes of game time to settle their score. Unfortunately for Pella Christian, they ended up on the wrong side of the coin on kniakrls.com, as they fell in a heartbreaker 91-86 in five extra periods against the Norwalk Warriors. Head Coach Larry Hessing says while he’s disappointed to come out on the losing side of things, it was one of the most special evenings he’s had in the Norwalk rivalry. The Eagles were led by 22 points from Levi Jungling, who fouled out during the 3rd overtime period, followed by 21 from David Kacmarynski, who played the bulk of the minutes in the marathon evening. The boys fall to 10-6 on the season and 5-6 in Little Hawkeye Conference play. The girls earned a victory in game one of the doubleheader 37-32, earning their tenth win of the season.
