Twin Cedars and Sigourney do battle at Moulton-Udell for a district semifinal boys’ basketball game tonight. The Sabers edged Keota in overtime last Thursday, 71 – 66, to make it to the next round. It was a boat race in the Savages’ game with Wayne; winning 85 – 56. Sigourney features a strong, two-man, inside-out game that averages 36 of their 61 points per game this season. Coach Alan Stewart says, on paper, tonight’s game is a coin flip. The winner plays the last team standing between host Moulton-Udell and Lynnville-Sully in the district finals on Thursday. Tip-off for the Sabers-Savages match is set for 6:30.
