The playoffs have arrived for the Pleasantville girls’ basketball team, and tonight, they’ll try to tackle Madrid on the road. The Tigers and Trojans each enter with just five wins on the season, though all of Madrid’s victories came against non-conference opponents. Pleasantville will still be without key freshman, Kelsey Van Haalen, who was injured against Martensdale – St. Mary’s a few weeks ago. Coach Aaron Fichter says he’ll need more than Kennedy Core to step up tonight. Derek Cardwell has the play-by-play of the Trojans’ playoff opener live on KNIAKRLS.com, with pre-game set to begin at 6:40 p.m. and tip-off at 7:00. We’ll have a delayed broadcast on AM 1320 and FM 95.3 KNIA immediately following the PCM girls’ affair with Centerville.
