Pella Christian is in the almost unenviable position of facing an uphill battle in several different sports with the various bigger schools that comprise the Little Hawkeye Conference. The girls (and boys) that participate in multiple sports for the Eagles know what they are up against in any competition that involves the rest of their league. It’s to that point that Eagles’ girls’ track and field coach, Kevin Herdegen, doesn’t even have to spend much of his time addressing that topic when it comes time to face Class 3A opponents. PC’s gals are gearing up for their season debut next Tuesday at PCM.
