Records were shattered at Central’s home track and field meet on Saturday. The Dutch women prevailed by 62 points, while the men scored 59 to beat Simpson by seven. Meredith Zimmerman won the 100 meter hurdles in a record time of 14.39 seconds, which is the fifth fastest in Division III this year. Abi Davis won the 200, and teammate Allie McBroom was the runner-up. Dan Roemerman put up a personal best in the 110 hurdles to win the event, where he is placed third currently in D3. Central will compete in the Drake Relays starting this Wednesday.
