Vast improvement was seen out of the PCM boys’ soccer team on Thursday in their 3 – 2 loss to Chariton. The Mustangs trailed at intermission, 2 – 0, but quickly came back in the final 40 minutes. Freshman Drew Johnson and sophomore Zac Read had the two goals for PCM. Coach Darin Telfer tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his team showed a better effort last night but is hoping for a little better execution in the future. The ‘Stangs are 0 – 3, and they are off for a week before hosting Nevada next Thursday for a conference match.
