The Marion County Board of Supervisors will provide an update on a property that was recently demolished in downtown Knoxville.

The building, located at 113 & 115 Third Street on the Knoxville Square was torn down after a 3 foot high, 6 foot wide hole was discovered at the base of the north wall on March 14th.
Prudential First of Knoxville Realty, which shared a common wall with the demolished building, has not been able to occupy their business after a structural engineer discovered the wall suffered from deterioration and bad mortar. The City of Knoxville is keeping that building closed at this time.
The board will meet Tuesday morning at 9am on the first floor of the Marion County Courthouse.
