The Knoxville Girls Track and Field Squad turned in three medal performances at the Cardinal Invitational last night in Newton. The Panthers got a win from Kendrea Richardson in the 200 and a second place in the 100. Carrie Chambers was third in the 400 hurdles. Team scores were not available. The boys had a productive night at Clarke. Tanner Dunkin took first in the 100 and 200, Nathan Winters swept the throwing events, while John Mitchell took gold in the 800 and the 4×100 meter relay team also won and likely qualified for the Drake Relays. Cade McNeill was second in the 3200 as was the 4×200 meter relay team. After an official review the Panthers were declared the winners by three points over Albia.
