The Knoxville Girls Golf Squad will head to Oskaloosa for the Oskaloosa Invitational today. The Panthers used consistency last week to post a triangular win, and this week was very consistent finishing third at Pleasantville. Coach Jason Carter tells KNIA/KRLS Sports one of the best things about his team is that any girl could post the team’s top score on any given day. Carter adds the short game is one of the main focuses right now. He says the girls can shave two-to-three strokes if they improve their chipping and putting which could be the difference between finishing first or second.
