This is Money Smart Week and the Knoxville Public Library is offering several events to celebrate.
The library is hosting “Set to Soar,” a kite-making class for Grades 2 through 5, on Thursday at 6:30pm. Knoxville Public Library Director Roslin Thompson says the theme for the kite-making program is “Kites = Ben Franklin = Entrepreneur and Savings”.
There will also be a coupon class offered this weekend. Mary Potter Kenyon is a 35-year veteran of the couponing world and author of Coupon Crazy: The Science, the Savings, and the Stories Behind America’s Extreme Obsession. Kenyon will have her coupon class on Saturday from 10:30am to 12:30pm.
