The Knoxville Boys Soccer Squad took out Carlisle last night 6-1. The Panthers got two goals from Alex Dye and one each from Patrick Crawford, David Wilches, Chase Larson and received an own goal from the Wildcats. Trent Davis had two assists and Nick Moats recorded four saves. Coach Dylan Mick is relying on his 13 seniors to lead the way this season. He tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that leadership began in the offseason. Knoxville is now 2-0 on the season and travels to Albia on Thursday. The Knoxville Girls Soccer Squad opened its season last night with a 5-0 loss to Carlisle. Goal keeper Ally Vander Hart was busy in goal with 20 saves. The Panthers start off 0-1 and will host Des Moines Christian on Thursday.
