One of the first tasks the City of Knoxville will give Confluence, the city planner they’ve hired to help resolve community issues, is to come up with a solution to non-conforming city lots.

The issue has become a concern of late, especially with area realtors.
City Manager Harold Stewart says with Confluence now on board, they plan to take on the issue immediately. He hopes to discuss options with the planner and have something on the agenda for the next Planning and Zoning meeting in early May.
Stewart believes that a resolution to the non-conforming lots issue could come by July.
