Former Knoxville Track and Field Standout Derek Seddon is having a season that one could only dream about for William Penn University. Seddon won his third consecutive Midwest Collegiate Conference Men’s Track and Field Athlete of the Week honor. Seddon took care of the competition at this past weekend’s Jim Duncan Relays at Drake University by winning the discus and setting a William Penn School record with a throw of 162 feet one inch. Seddon currently leads the M-C-C in the discus and is third in both the hammer and shot put. He is also 11th in the entire N-A-I-A in the discus.
