It came down to the doubles matches, but it was Pella High’s girls’ tennis team that prevailed over Pella Christian yesterday, 6 – 5. The two teams split the six singles contests, and the Eagles’ doubles teams of Andrea De Bruin-Rachel Tvedt and Andrea Carballo-Abbie Vander Molen won in No. 1 and No. 2 doubles, respectively. However, the Lady Dutch took No. 3 – 5 by scores of 10 – 0, 10 – 7, and 10 – 0 to win the meet. Full results are listed below.
